If you are looking for a career in the Cosmetology field, D’Jay’s Institute of Cosmetology and Esthiology is the place for you. We are constantly developing and improving our curriculum to meet the changing needs of our students entering the cosmetology industry. Preparing for a career in either Cosmetology or Esthiology requires more than a textbook and kit. It requires a strong, diverse clinic base, an emphasis on attitude and professionalism and the advantage of learning from experienced instructors and guest speakers.

We are licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology and maintain NACCAS (National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences) accreditation. This means that we uphold our reputation for excelling at educational performance and maintaining the quality of your education. Our Educational Facility

Our facilities include everything you will need to learn today’s salon practices. The school occupies a building at 10120 Red Oak Drive, Baton Rouge, La. With approximately 12,000 square feet of space, which contains large classrooms for theory, practical study, and clinic area. The facility is completely handicapped accessible. Each classroom is equipped with multimedia equipment and all other tools needed for each segment training. The Clinic area consists of workstations where the students work on customers under the direct supervision of instructors. The Clinic area is a totally equipped facility just like you’ll be working in as a professional. Our School maintains an extensive library of reference materials. Our collection includes multimedia programs and testing materials. Individual audio/visual are available for use. All educational courses are supported by full audio/visuals and students are encouraged to take advantage of the facilities whenever possible. Our school offers a complete collection of materials on the theory and practice of modern salon services. A private office is available for interviewing and advising of students. Advising is provided throughout the course for students who have school related problems.
